Terms and Conditions
Descriptions:
Product descriptions and sizes are as accurate as possible, but should only be used as a guide as all items are handmade and sizes/weights may vary slightly from item to item.
Commissions:
A deposit of 50% is required as confirmation of an agreement between both parties for a commission to be undertaken. This deposit is non-refundable. Once the commission is complete an invoice will be posted to you and the balance due must be paid within 15 days from the date of invoice. Failing to do so will incur a daily charge of 5% interest to be added to the balance. The balance must be paid in full within 14 days of this clause or your deposit will be forfeited and the commission will be sold to cover costs. The amount due must be paid in full, by cash, on collection or by cheque 5 days prior to postage or collection.
Postage, packing and delivery timescales:
Prices quoted on line include P&P to UK only. I use Royal Mail Special Delivery for all UK Orders, which should be with you by 09:00am the next working day from dispatch, this is a fully insured guaranteed service that requires a signature on delivery. I aim to dispatch parcels within 48 hours of receipt of your order, however, certain items may not be held in stock (highlighted on the on line shop) and they will have a longer dispatch and delivery time of up to 3 weeks. A shipping cost will be added to any orders required to be shipped outside the UK.
Damages:
I hope that my products will reach you in perfect condition, so please do not accept parcels that have been seriously damaged in transit. If goods are received that have been damaged, please send me an e-mail with details of the damage to: mail@janedominese.co.uk or contact me on Tel 0795 25 7507 within 48 hours, so that replacement items can be provided and damaged goods returned.
Returns:
Should any orders be damaged, broken or incomplete please contact me within 48 hours. Due to hygene laws I cannot accept returns of earrings other than if faulty. All other items of jewellery will be exchanged for an other item of the same or similar cost or for a gift voucher. Bespoke pieces cannot be returned other than if defective. Returns for purchases on line from www.janedominese.co.uk or directly from Jane Dominese are accepted if returned within 7 days in the original condition and packaging. No postage will be refunded. Items received after the 7 day period will not be accepted unless there is clearly a manufacturing fault. In this instance a repair, free of charge or an exchange will be offered. If the item has been damaged or broken and it is not a manufacturing fault a repair will be offered with a charge, which will be quoted depending on the work necessary.
Purchases made from stockists must be returned directly to the place of purchase (they will have their own returns policy - please ensure to enquire at time of purchase).
Cancellations:
There is a 5% admin charge to cover the cost of credit card processing fees, which i will have incurred at the time the order was submitted.
Back orders:
If any part of your order is out of stock, I will back order the items for you. Prior to dispatch I will send you an e-mail, to make sure that you still wish to proceed with the order.
Payments:
Jane Dominese accepts credit card payments via Paypal on this website. You do not need to have a registered account with Paypal to make payments in this way. For your security I do not receive your credit card details during the transaction.
Cheque payments are also accepted but orders will be dispatched only after payment has cleared (usually 5 working days). If you intend to pay by cheque please email your order to me at mail@janedominese.co.uk.
Distribution:
I make every effort to ensure that any stockists of Jane Dominese Contemporary Handmade Jewellery are never situated in close proximity to one another.
Pricing:
Jane Dominese reserves the right to change, without notice, any pricing in the case of error or material cost increasing.
